all weather mats + stock mats?
i was wondering if you put the all weather mats over the stock mats, would you decrease some road noise? i figural if it really does, i would put my stock mats back in, and maybe cut the driver side one so nothing will get stuck under my pedals =/

well, i dont really care much for the stock mats, they're just sitting in my closet any ways, might as well try to make use out of them? i mean if i can get less road noise at the price of mats that i'd never use, im all for it

All weather mats + carpet mats + floored accelerator pedal = crash.
There have been reports of throttle pedal getting stuck in the WOT position with this combinition so if I were you I'd make sure to only use either of the mats on the driver's floor and not both. You really are not gaining much with 2 sets. You would be better off keeping those carpet mats in a plastic bag stuffed in a cardboard box to protect them. If you plan on keeping your car for a long time you will appreciate this. The older cars carpet mats are getting scarce and unavailable like the SC300/400 models.

hummm, ya i know the stuck under pedals is a pretty big issue, i was just wondering if it would really help, i could cut up the stock mats, n cut a big chunk around where the pedals would usually be so nothing can get stuck

Well for me rain dont really matter, i wipe my car everyday, just a quick drive and the rear of my car gets covered in soot, so i wipe that, then the next thing i know i end up wiping down the whole car. Course when i wake up, i do a walk around to make sure there no gecko dookie, so sometimes its 2 wipedowns per day
