mine are studless nokian hakkas in 225/45/17 all around, awesome tires!
Thanks for pointing that out. I accidently put 40 instead of 45 in the poll.

I ended up ordering a set of 225/45/17 Dunlop Winter Sport 3Ds all around today. Thanks for all of your input.

if we all move to canada with our cars, we might be able to make a big hole in the ozone layer to contribute enough to the global warming and make it warm there too?

I am mightly impressed with my Nokian Hakkas compared to the Good Years I ran last year, like night and day difference!

I Just drove abour 400miles from the very north of norway down to the middle part, about 1-2' of compact snowy conditions on the road all the way and never encountered a problem!

After a while and som e confidance build-up I was able to hold 60mph/100kmh in sweeping turns without a problem, even catching up to some 4wd in front of me!

I have this set up with the 17" IS wheels that come standard on the IS 250 AWD model but with the Blizzaks that the dealership was suggesting when I bought the IS 350. I have been pretty happy with them thus far.

I have an '07 250AWD
After discussion/consultation w/ Discount Tire Direct we found 16" wheels would fit the 250.
I was not thrilled with the idea of 40 series tires in the snow in Conn., and want something taller.

We went with 16" Koenig wheels with Hankook W300 tires 225/50R 16
I did add the TPS to the wheels which Discount installed after I sent them to them.

The car behaved unbelievably well in the storm this week. Got to remember the ground clearance for the higher drifts though.
