I actually have a gas odor in my car as of about a week ago. The Lexus webiste doesn't show anything as applicable. I haven't checked the build date sticker but I took delivery on 12/14/05 so it had to be built in October or Novemeber of 2005.

Scheduled a dealer visit for tomorrow but they also said nothing outstanding for my car which is surprising since I already had a list of things that needed to be fixed, such as:

AUX Input whine
Rearview mirror vibration replacement
Rear brake "clunking"

I looked today, and my build date is 9/05 too. As I previously posted, I received my letter already.

This is what I found when I logged in... this is the only one, I don't see anything for the fuel lines (my build date is 10/05)
Has anybody had this done?

I checked Longo Lexus Owner's circle and got 7LC (no description)... so I registered at Lexus and got

So uhh.... for those who got the campaign, what is the number?

If it doesn't mention the Fuel Line service campaign, then you're good. I got the seatbelt recall done in mid '06 I remember...

Tommy - the fuel line campaign code is 7LC.

yea i heard about this when i was at cerritos lexus today...the gentleman in front of me had a recall on his gs...lol the service advisor said fuel lines and every one in the waiting room stared at him..

i believe its for 06 2gen is which were made in 05...this is what my service adviser told me..

Got my notice in the mail yesterday and will be taking the car in this morning to have the fuel pipe replaced. The estimated time for repair is 3 hours, so I'll let you know how long it actually takes them.

Received my notice the other day for the fuel line. Strange, because I didn't see it on the website. The only one I saw online was the SRS/Airbag system recall, but didn't receive anything for that in the mail. Has anybody gotten the fuel line replacement yet? I'm assuming that the downtime would be longer than the expected three hours because so many other cars were affected.
