O damn that is outrageously expensive for insurance! I know people with worse driving records that don't even pay that much!

im paying 150 dollars every month. so 900 for 6 months:
1800 for a year's policy,
I'm with Geico,
I am 22 years old,
i live in los angeles
clean record no accidents or speeding tickets on record.
Been driving for 6 years now.
i have 1000 dollar deductible and 100k/300k liability. i say i drive 9000 miles a year as well.
no roadside assistance as my other car is under my family coverage with premium AAA insurance.

i shopped around a little bit and AAA was like 2100 for 12 month policy. and like 20% upfront. all the auto insurance companies i checked with for the sam coverage all quoted me at 150-175 dollars a month. its a little high i think but thats only because its 300+ bhp and a "sporty car". + its high value.

(side note- i claimed to have no mods on my car, i dont plan on getting into a wreck haha)

I'm 22 years old. Live in Orange County, California. State Farm Insurance and I have one speeding ticket on my record but with 3 other vehicles. I have a $1,500 deductible and pay around $1,000 a year.

Working on getting my deductible down.

I have multiple speeding tickets, i'm 23 and single.

I received quotes anywhere from 150-200/mo. State farm gave me $92/mo with a renters policy thank god.

550€ = 700$ / year

i am 28, the insurance would me much higher if the car wasn't registered under my parents

but the lexus is pretty cheap in comparison to my old e36, the beemer did cost me twice as much, and it was only a 316 compact (100bhp lol! )

I have a clean driving record for 6+ years, driving in the US+2 other countries(i don't know if it helped lower my rate), this is my first car I bought on my own. I'm paying $850+ for 6 months with USAA. Yes I am active duty military.

WOW.. I thought no one was cheaper than USAA. This made me do some checking.. and sure enough.. with the same exact coverage, the GEICO premium is more than $200 cheaper per 6 month premium! Switching now.
