Gas mileage per tank
I was just curious but i really wanted to know what kind of #'s people are getting out of the 250 mt, 250 auto, 350 per tank. Really just want some real world numbers not the crap they feed you fom a car doing 40 mph, no a/c, etc, etc.....

My car typically gets about 1 mpg or so less than the computer displays. The last tank I actually kept track I averaged 28 mpg with about 70% highway and 30% city driving. I have an 07 is250 auto with 2k miles on it

Nope. I usually accelerate from a stop at about 1200-1500 RPM, and I shift at 3000-4000 RPM. My average speed is about 11 MPH, and I rarely get any higher than third gear. So, to call it stop-and-go is an understatement.

RObs is250, is there a reason you fill @ 1/4 tank? why not run it down then fill up? does anyone know if there is a problem with our cars and low fuel tank levels?

I have an AWD, mostly in town driving, I get 20-21 mpg. If you look at the revised 2008 gas mileage estimates, they are now right in line with my mileage.

when i fill up my 350, says anywhere from 395-405 miles until empty. usually holds pretty true. i'll match it with the odometer, and its 380-400. mostly 70/30 highway.
i've never reset the trip average in my car, so i've been getting 26.7 MPG since i bought my car 16,500 miles ago.
