w00t, i got my gas mileage from 18 mpgs avg (first while i had it i was hard on the pedal, it was fun =)) to 23.5 now, as gas goes up, my speeds and rpms goes down, its not fun

anyone know which is more fuel efficient? AWD or RWD?.. i have the AWD and am hoping to get the avg up around 25 eventually

Of course the RWD is better--AWD is heavier, and drives all 4 wheels.

can average 50/50 city/ highway 25 during the summer, lately it's been 23.5mpg. my average over the last 9 months is 23.5mpg. i still can get 30mpg doing 80mph on the highway, and try and drive like an egg under my foot.

Lifetime average at 24.9 now, 16k miles on the IS. We've seen 32 a few times on the highway, but generally get about 30-31 cruising at 75/80 with ours.

I avg 23 mpg 60 hwy / 40 city with Chicago TRAFFIC. IMO not much difference between IS250 and IS350 mpg. I can get 32ish mpg by cruising at 55 mph.

Where are you getting that it is #87? It is on the page that shows 91 to 100, so it looks like it is #94.

68 is the green "score"
87 is the relative placing it has since several cars received the same score of 68.

BTW, getting 29 mpg lifetime, just over 20K miles and loving this damn thing.
