Wait a few years and if one side lifts up for some reason and you had to take your clear bra out you probably will see a color difference. Or even when lifting occurs and little dirt and other things get in it. But back to my post about the miles to a tank of gas?
Okay but it's still fugly as hell. I think maybe you should try Saran wrapping your mirrors instead of the tape. It should be easier. LOL

i agree with above, although not as harshly mate (I take many of those chill pills you talked about ^_-), the bra is a nice protection piece, but in my opinion i'd get tired of putting it on and off... and if u dont put it on one morningn and get a nice paint chip on the way to work or something you'llbe like aw piece of **** shoulda had it on lol, the painters tape looks a little out of place, and im pretty sure painters tape is expensive (work in the painting contracting business), and even if its cheap, i think you could McGuiver some way to make a more attractive piece for the sideview mirrors, as said above maybe some seran wrap, actually mesaure it out and cut a piece and put it on, or a piece of clear vinyl (not sure if they make them.. although considering your in a white lexus with light blue sidelights color i guess doesnt matter much)

and also with the front bra, the lexus has a very sexy front end, beautiful curves between the lower and upper grill and headlights, something that shouldn't be covered, go with a clear bra in my opinion, im pretty sure i've seen ads for ones that come with warranty's protecting paint fade and everything, and you cant even tell that its on the car.

good intentions on protecting your car, but in summation, you should try to do so without compromising such a beautiful baby =)

--- its like taking a perfect 10 model, and putting a mask on her so her face doesnt get wind burnt outside --

I am really turned off to this forum lately. The attitudes that come out through text remind me of little rich kids who don't know any better. Maybe I shoulda bought a bimmer, then I'd have a reason to have an attitude! Ha!

BTW the bra doesn't look THAT bad and if its protecting your paint grats. Best thing to do on long trips.. The painters tape is a nice touch. lol

i got a bra as well...and im not complaining...for those with clear bras i personly dont think it would be a bad idea to get one of these for those long road trips...then again nothin is impentrable.... u can get a mask for the mirrors just like the bumpers as well....i think they run about 40 ( a pair i hope..lol..)...i think that would be a nice touch...atleast that way its the same color..lol...it looks like u have the same bra i do...so im sure u saw it on the colgan custom web site....

why is it that the ppl that do decide to get these...instantly get flamed???

Yes it was from the colgan website. I search for about a month (6-8months ago) for a bra and somehow they were the only one who made it for our cars. Let me tell you! This front bra SAVED me a few times. From a TIRE on the road to one of those freakin white plastic patio chairs to a CONE. So I have nothing to cry about. But really this post was about it being my baby's first bday and trying to say I can't afford anything else for this car besides some BLUE painters tape..lol..But seriously I thought I was back on HONDA-TECH for a second with people and their stupid comments.
