So nobody has done it to an 08' model with the sharkfin stickin' out of the roof huh..that'd be a problem if I were to have this done Even if I had purchased a black sharkfin from the dealer and stuck that on it wouldn't match the gloss or shade of the black vinyl and that would just drive me nuts. Anyone have any alternative ideas?

black roof with white body color is definitely one of the best looking mods for the IS 2gen.

The 4th shot looks awsome. The top view of the slightly turned wheel really adds character to the car.

^35% all around, 50% front windshield. I've since had John vinyl the roof rails black, so I think it looks much better now. Updated pictures soon.

javy, how is your windshield at night? funny story--i was trying to think of what would look super sick so i got the idea of mirror tinting my front windshield. and so i took it in and got it done, and man oh man from outside it looked SO good. and then i got inside, and i couldn't see a SINGLE thing. it was almost vinyld. so i asked the installed what percent is the visibility? and he was like, a little less than 10%..haha so i had him pull off everything.

Almost any sign shop in any part of the country can do this for you for under a $100. A window tint shop will have to order the tape whereas a sign shop stocks it all day long.

have you had issues with the front window with the local law enforcement? I just got harassed like no tomorrow for the first time for the front doors. I have seen so many people pulled over in the last week for this same reason. please do post a pic
