Question Determine XM signal strength

Is there anyway to determine how strong of an XM signal being received? Is there some sort of 'signal strength' readout somewhere in the audio menu?

Or is it simply a matter of 'either you got it or you don't'?

It's pretty much an 'all or nothing' thing from a practical standpoint. I have a portable unit in another vehicle which has signal strength bars, but I always have all bars showing unless I'm under a bridge or in a parking garage.

Yea with our car there is no signal strength screen that I know of. There should be. My inno has it and it can be useful for antenna positioning (which I guess wouldnt really matter in a car, but still...).

the major problem with antenna positioning is that there's like a 4 second buffer. So, if you were driving ultra slow to see what worked and what didn't, it would get confusing because you were actually delayed about 4 seconds from "actual blackout" to "heard blackout"

This goes for all satellite radios...
