My boyfriend calls it "the Lexus" as in .....Oh, do we get to go in "the Lexus", Oh, we can't drive "the Lexus" there its too dangerous, Oh, its raining we can't take "the Lexus". We can't eat in "the Lexus". Don't park near "the Lexus." He is imitating me of course but it is funny he actually makes the quotes in the air with his hands whenever we are in "the Lexus's" presence and he has to make some comment about it. I just call her Lexie.

Am I one of the only people who names my cars?
My 2001 PT Cruiser is Nicole.
My IS350 is, as noted below, Elizabeth Marie.
BTW, cars always get girls names, and are referred to with feminine pronouns. Like watercraft, or aircraft, etc.

I agree with the irishman when he says

but i also have to have the name start with the same letter as either the make or model of the car, i just had a tacoma and her name was tamika, she was a looker, mmm, haha, but i think my IS has her mommy, while my g/f wants to call her lexie, i thought that would be the name of every other lexus out there so i named her lucille, lucy for short, in memory of my grandmother who just passed away from cancer but at least part of her will always be with me

Well nothing too clever or creative, but me and my friends always refer to the IS as the "Sexus".
And whenever anyone asks me what IS stands for, I always tell them "Incredibly Sexy".
... But I AM trying to think of an actual name for her, hehe.
