Default DIY Oil change question

what is torque ft.lbs rating for

oil pain drain bolt
oil filter canister

?

Does both the IS250 and IS350 use the same 65mm 14 flute filter SST wrench?
I see one for $50 from Lexus but then KD tool makes one to this spec for $6
Also autozone "OEM" brand as mentioned in the threads here.

Not sure of exact torque spec, since we don't torque them down anyway, but i would say snug, plus 1/2 turn. please don't overtighten plug. use your feel to know that when it's tight its tight. make sure you change the drian plug gasket with new.

OK I have been doing toyota changes with that same drain plug washer (rubber type) 30 ft lbs always worked well.

Not sure on the filter housing though, I read the other thread says 18 ft lbs

I really need to get the technical manual just no time yet!
