Looks like for 2007, most of the IS buyers were between 16-35 years old.

In the Jan. 2008 issue of Car and Driver they report that the average age for a Lexus driver is 61 years old and 70 percent are retired

I'm sure that's the case when you average all the Lexus models together. But as for the IS, it's mostly for younger drivers. The IS is a small and sporty car. The ES is a bigger and cushier car that the old folks like. The IS and the ES are Lexus's top sellers and priced similarly, but the ES outsells the IS, so that drives up the average age for all Lexus cars.

I also got the loaner IS250 and boy did I appreciate my IS350 a lot more when I got it back!
