Default Anyone install the GFX Rear Lower Spoiler themselves??

I want to get the Tanabe exhaust for my IS250 but I really like how the exhaust looks with the GFX Lower Rear Spoiler? The exhaust looks okay without the lower spoiler but I think it looks more aggressive with it.

So anyone install the GFX Rear Lower Spoiler themselves??

I installed the front air damn and rear lip spoiler myself and didnt have a problem.

It seems like installing the GFX rear spoiler you have to remove it completely and involves alot of cutting to your original bumper.

Also anyone have pics of a white IS with the Tanabe exhaust with and without the rear spoiler??

Was it pretty difficult to do? Was there alot of cutting involved? I just glanced over the pdf installation manual and it seems like alot of stuff. Might just look that way.

Did you get your Tanabe Exhaust first or Spoiler?

Looks good!

I noticed your right exhaust pipe is not centered. This is common?

I want the rear of my car to look like this with the Tanabe Exhaust.

The Tanabe Exhaust looks a whole lot better with the rear spoiler!

Don't know if you have seen this, but it might help. Looks a bit tricky and labor intensive.

Thanks for the link! It actually doesnt look that bad.

Do the IS's that come with the GFX ground effects kit from the factory have different exhaust tips from the IS's that dont come with the kit??

If you noticed in the link above the owner installed new exhaust tips?

yes, those tips comes with the spoiler already. they are a little bit longer than the oem tips.

It looks hard, but it is not. let me give a big tip, they holes that you have to make in the rear bumper are already marked inside the rear bumper so don't be afraid of cutting the wrong holes or make them too big. because they are already marked for you!

Thanks for the tip!

I noticed the holes are marked when I installed my x-package front air dam. I decided not to drill because it really isnt neccessary.

I think I will drill into the rear lower spoiler and do it the proper way. I dont think I want those longer oem tips because I will soon after get a Tanabe exhaust.

I will try to get some pics of my car so you can see. Also buy some extra 3M tape, I put extra on mine, because the tape that comes with the spoiler is not enough
