happened to me and when i went in for my 10k mile service i told him about it and said that i must have hit a pothole and was wondering if he should check out if the tire needs to be replaced.. after the wait he told me they took it off and replaced it under warrenty cuz they felt bad that the tire lasted so shortly.. so give it a shot, but dont expect it, tires are expensive idk many dealerships that hand them out like that
If the bubble is from a manufacturing defect, it should be covered by the warranty. If it is from an impact (happens frequently when a low profile tire hits a severe pothole), it won't be, unless the dealer is nice and covers it as "good will".
Agreed, and also check out their recommended installer section on the web site, which lists both prices for mounting/balancing as well as customer reviews. I've found that some shops that aren't on the list aren't happy about losing the profit on selling you the tire(s), and charge exorbitant prices for mounting and balancing to compensate.
