NEW PICS ADDED 10/16 - Does this IS-350 look totaled ?
I was driving along... stopped behind another vehicle and was rearended by someone completely not paying attention. My 2006 IS-350 (21,000 mile on it) was slammed from behind and then smashed into the car in front of me.
Any ideas of what the damage may cost from these pictures.
The rear bumber is destroyed.
The driver side muffler is on the ground and the panel under the rear dropped down and stuff is gone.
The front is smashed pretty bad as well and the radiator pushed back a bit. The fuse boxes are lifted slightly due to everything being pushed back.
Air bags did not deploy and I think the interior was intact.
Let me know your guesses. The body shop is picking it up on Monday, so hopefully I will know something soon.

I really love this car
I bought this car last August. My first really nice car. It was around $45k, fully loaded. I keep thinking it can't be that bad, but also doesn't look like they can fix everything right if you know what I mean.
This is very upsetting. Additionally, I spent half the day this morning in the Emergency Room due to head, neck, back, etc... pain - so overall the past 24 hours have been fairly depressing. I am greatful to Lexus that the passenger compartment stayed solid but I got snapped around quite a bit due to the rear impact followed by the front impact. Not a great experience.
Thanks for the input.
