Horizontal Headlight adjustment for non-AFS 2IS?
I've been reviewing this thread https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=256618 and many others and cannot find the anwser I'm looking for.
Okay, so I looked into adjusting my low beams after installing aftermarket HID's. My car did not come with HID or AFS and I could only find the vertical adjustment screw. I took out the airbox on the passenger side, stuck my head in there to trace where that cutout/hole leads to, and to my surprise there was NO HORIZONTAL ADJUSTMENT SCREW but only a plastic cap. I read my owners manual several times and could not find the horizontal adjustment screw that is talked about.
I actually left the car on ACC mode and the low beams on while adjusting them. I only saw vertical movement but no horizontal movement. The PDF that was linked in the aforementioned thread also did not mention any adjustments for the horizontal screw, but in my manual it gave me a picture of where that horizontal screw was supposed to be.
For an non-AFS equipped 2IS, it made sense to me that horizontal adjustment isn't needed. I guess the horizontal adjustment screw is only available on IS with Factory HID/AFS? Can another non-OEM HID/AFS equipped 2IS owner confirm this?

old post. Still need answer on existence of horizontal adjustment on non-AFS headlights.
I bought an 8" screwdriver, played around with the fender hole, but no resistance felt anywhere... kinda reminds me of my younger days with fast women.
Any help!!!

Ok, so I'm not crazy then. I have tried every angle possible with my screw driver and couldn't really feel anything definite that felt like a horizontal adjusting wheel on my halogen headlights.
Thanks
Thanks
