OEM 18" wheels for IS250 AWD
OK.. I had stock 18 inch stock wheels in staggered setup from IS350 on my IS250 AWD, but since many people including dealer told me that it will mess up my AWD drivetrain, I put my stock 17's back on. After seeing those ugly wheels, I bought some used Blitz wheels, but I keep thinking that the stock 18inch wheels look very good and clean. So, I'm thinking to buy a set of stock 18 x 8 wheesl (all 4 front wheels) and put same size of tires on them. If I go for this route, would I have any other problem, such as the front wheels do not fit on rear or etc...?

I'm doing the same where I'm keeping 18" on all 4 sides (not 18 in the front and 18.5 in the back). Shouldn't be a problem as they are all the same size (granted you get the same tires to) so that will also allow you to rotate your tires since they aren't staggered.

Some people are getting 18 x 8.5 all around and I am not sure which one would be better. Wider is better, but not sure which would be better than the other.

wider is not always better, adds more weight and worse in snow.
if your gonna get 225/40/18s just go for 18x8...
as far as the widest you can get for the front is 235, it'll still fit in a 18x8 rim.
