A Lexus is just a car. It doesn't magically make you wealthier. If you can save some money without losing much utility, you should do it, regardless of what kind of car you drive.
There's nothing about buying a Lexus that says you have to change your behavior... (except for maybe taking your BMW mechanic out of your top 5 speed dial) :P

Most of the time. Then some guy in a modded VW tries to run with you and you hit big triple digits showing him the tail lights he can't outrun and oops...there went that gas mileage for that tank.

Thats not what I meant, what I was trynig to say is really how much are you going to save??? 1 or 2 gallons?? that is 6 dls right? so instead of saving 6dls
I prefer to enjoy my drive and my car, instead of thinking all the time to watch the gas pedal
LOL thats so true

like someone stated earlier its all about consistency...if your constantly stopping then slamming yer gas and stopping again etc you get the picture...living in cali now...it gets a bit irratating on the freeway with the cars go super fast then slamming on their brakes....i average like 25-28 mpg and i drive about 80 mph most of the time cruised controlled lol.

This argument is so tired. Haven't you seen all the studies that shows that the upper class penches pennies much more than the lower class? I've never heard anyone that lives in a trailer park and drives a '70's pickup talk about how to get the best possible gas mileage...

^^those guys are happy when more cylinders hit than miss...
And I agree with driving economically to save a little for those times when you really want to put a whoop on someone.
