Toyo Proxes T1-R: Anyone have these on the IS?

Wondering if they are a good choice as a replacement to the 18 OEM's.

I have the Toyo T1-Rs for my 20" Auto Couture wheels and I think they are great tires! Even though my tires are really thin, the road noise is reduced, the handling is improved and they look great as well! Get them!

I was surprised to see that comment. The Dunlops on my IS have been great! What specific complaints do you have about them?

I have 19" t1-r's and I have a thread on here regarding trammeling. Others have noticed this also.

I personally think that the stock dunlops I had gripped better then the t1-r's. However, the t1-rs are pretty cheap, so I guess they are good for a cheap tire.

I can't believe what I'm reading?!?!?

The T1-S and T1-R tires are some of the stickiest tires made, EXCELLENT grip... And they are also some of the LOUDEST tires out there, especially once they begin to wear down... Once you get past 7,500 miles or so they begin to drone very loudly...
