Replacing stock halogen bulbs with xenon
I have stock halogens on my IS250. If I wish to upgrade to xenons is it simply a matter of removing the halogens (as in the "DO-IT -YOurself" portion of the manual) and then pop-in some xenons? What exactly do I need to buy?
also, on E-bay there appears to be a plethora of xenons products. How much do I need to spend and can I do the replacement myself?

Here's a link to a good DIY thread. You do need to buy a kit in order for xenons to work with your stock halogen system. I just installed this same kit recently (XTreme H11 5000K from Xenondepot) and I absolutely love the results.

Hello,
Your vehicle uses an h11 bulb for the low beams meaning that you would need to order an H11 HID conversion kit for your vehicle. Yes there are a ton of people selling HID conversion kits. Naturally Im biased however you really need to be careful when purchasing online. You want to make sure you are buying from a legitimate company that will actually stand behind the product should something ever go wrong. Furthermore, there are also a lot of kits on the market that are literally junk (for lack of a better word).
