Post Info On Full Hood Clear Bra

Hey,

I swear I have seen cars with full hood clear bra's so that you don't have the "crease" on the hood where the protection stops. Anyone have this done or know if it is possible. Install place says it is not but, like I said I swear I have seen it before. Any pictures and help would be good.

Honestly, pics wont do jack. Its clear so youre barely going to see it as is so whats the point?? I think you should google it around your area and see if anyone does it. Thats what I did and I found someone that does.

I realize it will be hard to see. I was more interested in if people have heard of, or gotten the full hood done. Did you get the full hood? In the mean time Ill hit up google.

Yes I have seen full hood clear bras, it looks MUCH better because I've always hated that visible line you get from partial hood jobs.

I was told by the shop that installed mine that it is an option. You will have to call shops around your area to see if they carry or can order the whole piece. It will cost some mula because it would be hard to install.
I remember a shop in Georgia did it but I can't remember the name.
Hope this helps a little.

Just make sure your hood is perfect clean of swirls, micro-scratches, or any chipped you dont like and can do something about because once that sticker is on there you will have to look at that stuff forever until youre ready to tear off the clear bra and put on another.

Here's a post with pictures of a full hood clear bra:

It was done in CA though, so wouldn't really help you with finding a shop in AL, but at least you have pictures.

I installed the full hood clear bra on my wife's Sienna minivan recently on my own, and am preparing to put one on the IS this weekend.

I decided to learn how to do it on my own. It isn't rocket science. The prep work takes the longest time. The cost of the film is nothing.

It's some change, but I just couldn't stand to see the line. Plus it makes it a lot easier for me to wax as well. ucdmoo, looks like you had premier do it for you. Great bunch of guys and had a chance to see a Veyron there recently. For those in the bay, these guys are hailed to be one of the best in the industry. Just take a look @ their website, and it says it all - www.premiermobilegroup.com
