Default Weird Thing Happend When I Installed My Intake

Well I drove my car and everything seemed to be fine. Than when I got home to roll up my windows in the front, they would not move up with just one click. I had to hold them. Than the passenger window did not roll up at from my switches. I reached over and rolled it up.

I noticed when i rolled up my window that the green light in the botton was flashing. What could this mean?

- Yes I did unplug the negitive when i installed the intake

- the windows in the front were both down when i unplugged the battery so could this be the reason why it's acting up?

someone help.

I had the same problem when I installed my stereo/navi. Since you took out the battery wires, you will have to hold on them. You need to re-program the windows setting. My installer did it and I forget how he did it but I remember you have to roll the driver side once, passenger side, etc. there is a trick to it... sorry for not being so helpful and hopefully someone with more knowledge will jump in to help.

Good luck!

Since u unplugged the battery, ur ecu must "relearn" the auto up down function for the windows. simply press and hold the switch up and down for all four windows and that should solve ur problem.

It is the ecu, it reset everything. This mean, everytime you unplug the battery, you have to reset all windows....I learned my lesson....

The solution to your problem is also found in the 2nd Gen IS FAQ's (hiding in plain sight at the top of every page in the 2IS sub-forum). One day people will actually start reading this...
