Default 20" AVUS AF-501 and Lowered Pix

AVUS AF-501
20x8.5 (2" lip) 225/35/20 (came with the wheels i'm going 245/30 on the change out)
20x10 (3") 275/30/20

Lowered on Tanabe DF210 for 3GS. Tucks tire in the rear and 0.25" gap up front. No rubbing of any kind so far.

TPMS are a second set strapped on with bracket into valve stem nut.

Sorry for the bad pix...its an ugly rainy day.

I absolutely love black on black set-ups. Avus wheels are one of my favorites as well. Good work on the ride. It's now one of my favorites.

man this thing is clean all the way around, i love the height , the stance, the specs on the tires, so why are you going to change out the tires? they might start rubbing when you put the wider tires right?

you will rub when you change it out to 245. Can you please take a clearer pic of how stretch the 225 is? I'm thinking about changing mine to either 225 or 234 series. Thanks a lot dude.

Thanks guys.

Got them used on a deal!! Alot less than retail. The beauty of Miami...everyone always has high end wheels on sale.

I know it will rub but i like the wider tire better for lip protection...etc. plus im not afraid of a heat gun and grinder to make it not rub.

Your best compromise will be a 235/35. I think the 225 is just too narrow for a 20x8.5. 245/30 will be good but 245/35 will NOT work. i been doing alot of research on this.
