How to fix deep scratch with touch-up pen?
I went up to my cottage this weekend and my rear bumper, just where my trunk closes had a nasty knick on it (I am guessing from somebody hitting their bag or something while removing it from the trunk). My question is that I got some touch-up paint, but it is in a pen for and the scratch is fairly deep (far past the paint), but not that wide and the tip of the pen is fairly wide. How should i go about fill the scratch with paint?

Here's a little detailing trick for those deep scratches.
As we know the brush ****s it all up even more by unevening the paint and leaving brush strokes.
The trick is this:
Get a PIN, like a saftey pin, paperclip tip, or even a tac. Dip the very very tip in, and slowly, tap the inside of the scratch (NOT HARD!) untill it fills in slowly, then make sure you park your car outside in the heat somewhere so it can bake in, and level out.
Some people also use toothpicks, but in my case I've noticed even a toothpick is too thick sometimes.
Hope this helps
