I've seen it on other non Lexus cars, but never on mine. Dealer should help. If it's someting bad, think about having them paint it to match your body color.

Are you sure they are not chips in the chrome? This is the front grille, after all -- it gets the brunt of rocks, etc.

Yeah, I was gonna say the same thing. Probaby rock chips. It is just a piece of chromed out plastic that chips easily.

definitely not a chip...it's smooth and it looks like silver that has tarnished. one spot is about the size of a dime and the other is less than half of that.

I would try putting some vinegar (or pickle juice) on a microfiber cloth and rub on the stain. Vinegar works great at removing water stains on the car. This is the miracle acid wash that some try to sell to you for $100.

No particular kind. I bought a bottle at Wal-Mart to remove some water (ghost) stains, and it worked great. However, just be sure that you rinse the area and wash the car after you try this.

I believe that there is a thread in this forum on removing water stains using vinegar in the detailing section:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/automotive-care-and-detailing-122/

Best of luck!
