If you were in Atlanta, I'd say bring it to my house and we'll do the whole thing for the cost of oil and a filter with something cold to drink. That dealer's outrageous.

Just a couple of thoughts:
You guys are ***uming a lot here. Perhaps the OP drives the IS like he stole it. Perhaps there is some left foot braking going on. Perhaps he is getting shafted but without more info, it's all conjecture.
The prices don't seem out of line besides the price of the brake pads. It should be closer to $70 for the pair, not each.
As for the TSB on the brakes... Not trying to be judgmental or holier-than-thou but get it done if the brake dust bothers you, not to get something for free. JMHO.

Are you getting shafted? yes. But you're also kind of asking for it if you're going to have the dealer replace something as simple as wiper blades. Go to Kragen, buy a set of blades and install them yourself, or even ask the guy behind the parts counter for help if you need to.

MSRP on the rotors is $135.23 for the left and $156.37 for the right. Pads are $59.95. Paying more than this is getting robbed. You wouldn't pay more than MSRP for the car, why would you pay more than MSRP for parts?
Parts total is $351.55, not $440+. I'm really starting to get sick of the price gouging Lexus dealers like to do.

So if I buy a set of Michelin's from tirerack that are the same size and rating as my OEM Dunlops, that's a bad idea becuase they're not made for the car??? It's a wiper blade dude, not an ECU.

Don't forget, inferior wiper blades cause you to lose HP...

For some reason, people get it stuck in their head that they "must" go to a dealer for service, and hence, the dealer does have monopoly-like powers, especially in certain areas where there are not that many lexus dealerships...

You know, I'm glad you bring up the word "monopoly"... You are 100% correct man, it's certainly not a monopoly... There are many dealers out there, and 1000s of independent service centers... so there is no excuse for letting a dealer rip you off... So why does it happen all the time? Well, many reasons, here's my favorite...
