I have entered the car and noticed that my light switch was set to ON, but my lights were not on. So I believe they shut themselves off after some defined time. Not sure if that's 15 min, one hour, etc.

I can try it right now if you want....

The lights go out when you open the driver's door automatically. Every Toyota I have owned since 1988 has done this. The integration relay provides this service. It just takes 30 seconds for the lights to turn off in the IS.

Just tried it. They turn off after 30 seconds (didn't actually time it, but it was less than a minute).

Freddymoo, Your Headlights will automaticly turn off within 15-30 seconds.. I always leave my headlights on.. I lock the door, and walk away.. It could be on AUTO, or Manualy set to Lowbeam, etc.. They'll shut off within 15-30 seconds.. I didnt time it but should be way less then 1 minute..

Try it, you'll see..
