Question Should I paint my GTC01 to bright silver

A few weeks ago I installed my ERS GTC01 in hyperblack. I have never being pro of dark colors wheels, but i took the change. The result last weekend i put back the stock wheels.

Dark colors make wheels look small and if we consider that the GTC01 have multiple spokes it makes them look smaller.

The thing with hyperblack is that the finish is something like was pulished and then it have like a transparent black overlay, so during bright sun light they look like silver, but with no or litle light they really look dark.

I have 2 options 1. try to sell the wheels or 2. paint them in silver and hope that i like them like that.

I know is a personal choice, but i wanted to hear what would you guys do.

Thanks,

I love the hyper black look but if you insist I would sell them and get different ones.

i would not paint them..... the hyper black is a nice color, i think silver would make them look cheaper. But if you are serious about changing the color i would look at powdercoating them.

I think the contrast looks great on your car.

Ditto.

The hyper black finish makes the rims stand out, compared to regular silver rims.

And if you're paying for after market rims, they better stand out.

Powder coating has a more rugged and durable finish than regular, painted rims.

powdercoating is where the finnish is bonded to the rim with the use of electrical charge,it is far more durable then paint and less likely to chip.
it costs about 60.00 a wheel depending on where you live.
