Little different look ...Slapped on some new rims and dropped.
Whats up guys,
I got my IS about a month ago and have been adding some stuff. Thanks to the info/opinions found on this site (Though, its a pain in the **** not being able to use just two or three letters when searching!). I thought I'd share the new look of my car after adding coilovers and the rims.
Here is what I've installed: K&N intake, Tanabe exhaust, OEM spoilers, Tein CS coilovers, and BBS LMs. OEM rear trunk lip is coming next week. Not sure what I will do next, but I'm pretty happy with the mods so far.
Here are some pics of my SGM 350, which seems to be the most popular color around here... grrrr. Front needs to be lowered little more to even up with the rear. The shop that installed my coilver wants to let things settle for a week before the setting up the final height and firmness. Wheels will be realigned next week with final adjustments.
Wheel specs are 18x8.5 fronts/18x9.5 rear with 38 offset for both.

Looks great.. I'm glad there are other people out there who decided to go with 18s in aftermarket wheels. Anything bigger just don't look right on this car, IMHO.
EDIT: BTW, just curious, do you know how much those wheels weigh?

Thanks guys! I always loved the look of the LMs and I am glad I was able to pick them up. I think they are very versatile wheels that look good on all types of vehicles. I shaved off some weight over the stock 18"s, which I cant believe it made a difference. I have not seen these wheels on IS yet, so hopefully I am the only one!
