yikes - $500 to repaint a bumper 2-3 times. I'm sure there a lot of runs, orange peel not matching, and a host of other issues. I used to get my bumper and hood repainted through Lucent and it was running about $500 for the bumper alone. I've seen scores of friends cars with cheap repaints and all have looked like garbage

Definitely get a realistic quote for paint first, seems that there is alot of misconception that paint jobs are cheap! Are you refering to Maaco? I can believe you can paint the bumper 2-3 times for $500 but I highly doubt it will look like the original paint, and no clear coat.

My other car the previous owner painted the whole car for $1000, and it was terrible... no clear coat, bird poop will eat thru it quick.

I would love to get the info for a quality paint job for a FB at under $500 for 2-3 times. Make it $200 to repaint my front bumper... Can you get me the phone # for this place?

I would be referring many customers to that body shop if they can repaint a car's FB for $200 each time... I work in the body kit industry, for $200, that's unheard of... unless you're talking about the Maaco cheapy type of paint.
