Default New Rotors with IS250 Brake Pad TSIB?

I was just wondering if anyone has receiving new or resurfaced rotors along with their new brake pads. I noticed there is a slight lip that has formed on my front rotors but not the rears. Is this normal or something due to the kind on pads already installed? Thanks for the input

They resurfaced your rotors so that the new pads will wear evenly. It's normal.

I declined the re-surfacing. First off, they wanted to charge me $190 to do it. Secondly, it's bull****. It is NOT necessary at all. This will weaken your rotors and may cause them to warp over time.

They cut my rotors without letting me know so I put up a stink and they replaced them new.

Depending on worn condition and thickness of your rotors... some rotors can't be serviced. It is not cheap for O/E parts, and I'v seen some slotted-drilled aftermarket parts on fleabay.

BTW, it is the best timing to try some performance pads... like pads by Endless.

Pick my baby up this morning....No squeaky brakes thank god!!! They arent responsive as i expected but ill sacrifice that over the bloody noise. Next time i need new pads im gonna put on some aftermarket rotors and performance pads and see how they work out.

I got the TSB done. Does help with dust and as expected, the brakes don't stop as well. They were free, so I'm not complaining as I needed new pads. I too will go aftermarket performance the next time and back to the dust...

Not sure if my rotors were new or not. I think they just turned them. got the tsb done at 30k miles, so I'll be due for pads and rotors at 60k.
