I have searched and it seems most people either paint their OEM grille or they buy an aftermarket one that really doesn't turn me on too much. Is there a company that makes black replica grilles or something that is class and durable. I am looking for flat black.

Only three good sources for the front grill.

Two of them are dark with strange emblem replacement, and one with super bling setup. Of course you can mod these a bit to meet your standard.

FleaBay? I know usually parts from the bay has fitment problem.

sincity just paint yours. not sure why it's such a turn off for you. Paint it and see how it turns out, if you don't like it then you can always order the oem and be back where you started.

If you don't want to try painting because it's permanent, you can do what most people did on my old forum (E46 Fanatics), they would put vinyl film on it and if they ever wanted to remove it they could just peel it off. Most of them bought it from beacon graphics.

I don't like aftermarket paint because it is so much more delicate. Everything that has been painted in the front of a car I have ever seen was chipped to hell.

you could try clear/matte coating the paint to give it some extra protection. I see why you would want one that is made black though, let us know if you find one.

has anyone tried to vinyl there front grill black?... i would like to know how that looks compared to painting it... i still haven't had the courage to paint mine black but if the vinyl looks good.. might jump on that with the quickness...
