Default GFX front air dam scraped up bad: get new or re-paint?

What would be best, to re-paint or get new one? New is 300 bucks.

When you get your car body damaged, that's the perfect excuse get a new body kit.

Fabulous front lip .

I was quoted $220 for a new one, probably cost almost as much to get repainted professionally. I just let mine continue to get scraped up. I'll probably just paint it myself, as it will get scrapped up again, and again. Just forget about.

Yeah, it really isn't worth it to do anything. I scraped the bottom of mine, but you'd never know it unless you were looking a the car on a lift. I was going to get it repainted/replaced, but then I realized I'd probably do the same thing afterwards.

Fabulous front lip .
You will pay triple for the fabulous and then you have to get it painted. Not saying it's a bad idea just saying it will cost a lot more.

Where can you find it for $220? It's listed for $347 before the 10% on lexus-parts.

I think I'll try to get a cheap re-paint job later. My wife likes to drive the IS so getting a new one is like throwing my money away.

I say repaint. Why buy a new piece just cause the paints scraped?

Sounds like the smart thing to do considering your situation.

my GFX lip got scraped within 1 month of installation.

People say that the GFX Lip and the OEM Lip is the same height.. in terms of the distance to the ground.

I feel that the GFX lip is marginally lower then the OEM Lip.

All i did was put some touch up paint on it.

It is on the bottom anyway, who can tell.

Put some touch up paint on it so it won't be as noticeable.
