So this morning I decided I'd pop in Dave Chappelle's Killing me softly dvd and there was no picture displayed. Audio was fine but no video. I pressed the Audio button and it even displays as a DVD-V. The picture button is grayed out. My other DVDs play fine though. And yes, this is an actual dvd that i bought not a pirated DVD.

So anyone have this issue before? Should I get this looked at?

If your other DVD's are fine, then I would assume your Chappelle DVD's is rotten.

Have you tried it on a home DVD system?

i looked at the dvd and it's clean.. i just played it in my computer.. if it's rotten i'd doubt the sound would even play. I could hear the sound fine and it was on the main menu waiting for me to press the button to play but there was no display.

I haven't had any problems so far with DVD movies. I did however have a problem with a DVD-A. When inserted it will not play, but plays fine on my home DVD player.

yes im pretty sure the ebrake was on.

I had the exact same thing happen until I applied the parking/emergency brake, then the picture showed up.
