I prefer the 18" X Pkg Wheels, but I want the Lux Pkg, not the X Pkg is it possible to order it this way or can you ask dealer to swap for you after your order comes in, is that even possible or will dealer give me a hard time?

Would rather have them on the car instead of looking after the purchase is over. Since there both 18" wheels will the 18" X Wheels work on a Non-X Pkg vehicle? Has anyone here got the Lux Pkg and the 18" X wheels instead of the stock ones?

i dont think it's possible. but you can try to swap them at the dealership. or buy mine =D

Here i got the IS350 With lux PAckage and 18" ISP rims. I got these with the car instead of asking or purchasing afterwards.

Get the Lux, then upgrade to the X-Package wheels and drop the car...

I wanted the same set-up, I could not get them to order it that way. I ordered it with the Lux 18s. When I went to pick up the car there was a X-package IS sitting right next to my car. My wife asked if those were the wheels I wanted. She said she didn't like them. To be honest, I didn't like them in person, either. They looked much better in the picture. You may want to see them in person before getting them.

Here is what you need to do...buy the car without the rim that you want, and then call darrel @ sewel lexus, ask him if you can trade in your wheels for the wheels that you want, and pay the different. That's the cheapest way to do it. Otherwise, the dealer is going to charge you more than 2 grand.

the ISP wheels are sick, im gonna get a set for the winter, i hate my AWD rims 17"s are so whipppy.

Yes this is an old thread.

My IS350 is coming in soon w/ Lux pkg. I asked the dealer if they will swap out the 18" Lux Wheels for the 18" X Pkg wheels but they won't do it. They said I would have to order the X Pkg wheels for about $2K.

Swell doesn't even show the X Wheels on their site:

I really want a 5 spoke wheel factory OEM like the X Pkg wheel or the 5 spoke wheels like on the GS here:

What are my options and how do I get it. I dont really want to pay dealer $2 grand for the X Pkg Wheels. Will the GS wheels pictured above work?

I ordered my IS350 fully loaded but wanted the X-Package rims. Just so happens they (and I imagine many other dealers) usually have sets laying around for chrome exchanges and what not. I was able to do an even swap with no additional cost.

I may be a little late with this, but when I custom ordered a 250 manual, and i wanted the X package (kit, wing, wheels) with the luxury package goodies, but they wouldnt let me put them on at the same time, so i had to just order the luxury package then add on the x package goodies one by one when the car made it to port. it ended up working out b/c i was able to get the spider wheels instead of the X package wheels.

Long story short - your best bet is to have them swap them when it comes into port/to your dealorship.

Dj_AmtraX, Thanks for your Pics, those are the rims I want on my IS350. I've seen them in person and think they make the car look sportier.

tascma, you sound like you lucked out in getting them at the port. I am still working with my dealer to try and get them swaped out at the port but I'm having my doubts. I really hope the dealer can make this work for me, I'd even pay a little extra for them but not $2k. I so want those X rims.

I stand by my post. Ask the dealer if they have a set lying around. Lexus of Las Vegas regularly has sets lying around of all types of OEM wheels. Most are from chrome exchanges, and exchanges such as this.

They flagged a set for me while my car was being built in Japan. When the car came in they did an even swap. This way, I was able to have every option I wanted (including radar cruise) on my 350 and the X-package wheels.

Yes, you can have your cake, and eat it too.

Next up, I am getting the X's chromed.
