Default Exhaust cleaning?

Okay, I just put in the Tanabe exhaust a couple days ago and they are getting pretty dirty inside the tips (go figure). For those of you who have aftermarket exhaust, do you guys clean the inside of the tips where the carbon builds up? If so, do you use any products or just rag and water it? Thanks in advance.
P.S. LOVING THE TANABES!

don't bother--you won't be able to keep up with it--after awhile the black stain will set in. It's like trying to keep the bottom of your shoes clean.

For the most part, I just use some soapy water to get all the grime out. Every month or so I will use NXT metal polish. But like someone says, it gets dirty very fast so you have to keep up with it.

Its actually on par with the brake dust from the 2IS and how often you need to clean your front wheels...

Every time I wash the car I wash the tips too. After 6 months they still look the same as when I installed them.

Aloha

You wont believe it. I clean my tips everyday after I get home. I have a rag just to clean the inner most outer part of the tips. It's a pain in the A** but they will always look like the first day you put them on. Good luck on whatever you do.

I'm guessing I can pick the Honda Motorcycle cleaner at any Honda motorcycle dealership, right?
