that really came out good. what did they use to install? is it a custom fiberglass piece? it really fits good in the corners and doesn compromise your trunk space. how ever did that install did a great job. did you change out the whole stereo? i have the ML system but would like a little more bump to the car. please post more on what you did and if you tapped into the factory system.

thanks!!!

Well that looks good too, I dont know how I feel about tearing apart my back seat, but yea that seems pretty stright forward. Too bad you didnt do a written out (or pictured) walkthrough on how to get all that stuff out of there... I wouldnt know where to begin. I was just hoping to tap into some wires and run the power line. Any pics of where and how you ran power to battery?

VERY NICE JOB!!! That is awesome! I would love to do a single 10" like that on the side. Did you use fiberglass or mdf with some creative carpeting?

I had a shop do the installation...

For power: They just ran an 8 gauge power wire from the battery along the passenger side of the vehicle...

For signal: They tapped into the stock subwoofer speaker wires...

Taking apart the rear deck/seat is necessary only to remove the stock subwoofer (which I highly recommend)...

It's not an "easy" procedure, but it's not "hard" either. I'd say medium...

Do a search, there are a few people on here who have already posted on how to do it...
