Angry The Official Rattle Thread.

Got Rattles? List them all!

1. B-Pillar, driver seatbelt. (fixed)
2. Center console / A/C vents. (fixed)
3. Passenger side rear view mirror. (Lexus unable to find problem and fix)
4. Front passenger side seat. (just started to rattle recently, maybe it's because im running out of tires and my car vibrates more?)

List your rattles and maybe we'll see if we have the same rattle spots.

1. Center Console/center speaker ( fixed at the 3rd time)
2. B-pillar (fixed)
3. Driver seat squeak (fixed)

Now, my car is rattle free and I am loving it!

I think I have some rattling from my glove compartment door.

But I'm not so sure where the rattling is coming from, so I'll just tell my dealership to tighten my car up!

1. Center console (had rattles, took it to dealership, came out worse, gonna fix it myself)
2. Driver side vent (there was no rattle before, until I brought the car in to the dealership to have #1 fixed.......)
3. Glove box compartment (same story as #2)

Needless to say, I am not happy and the dealership could care less. I will never bring my car into any dealership again unless I have to.

Dang that sucks for you guys. I am on my second IS350. No rattles here

The only rattles I have ever heard were caused by me. Ie DVDs in the side, water bottles, DVDs in the glove box... etc

When you guys do hear rattles, my first suggestion would be to remove loose items. change, tire gauge, books etc... then take it to the dealer.

After about a couple of months of owning the car, I started hearing a high-pitched rattle (sounded like thin sheet metal vibrating) on the front passenger side. I couldn't pin point the location and it only happened on not so smooth roads (not potholes or bumps). After not driving the car for a week, it magically disappeared. Hope it stays that way.

Funny thing is I created a squeak in my drivers seat this weekend by wiping down my seats with leather cleaner/conditioner! The seat bottom rubs on the outer plastic that holds the seat adjustment controls, and ever since I cleaned my seats it started to squeak against the plastic,...I can actually stop it by applying pressure to the plastic cover!

And watch for sunglasses in the overhead storage, that can make all different types of sounds.

All not fixed yet.

1. Center speaker rattle
2. Somewhere from the steering column. I think it's in the turning stalk.
3. Underneath the passenger side seat.

Is there a TSB out for 07 models for the center speaker rattle like there is for 06?

Are you saying there is a TSB for the 06 center speaker rattle? I've never seen one...
