Hello all,

I am contemplating about getting the sides of the OEM GFX Kits. Any1 with the Full OEM Kit and Front & Rears only please chime.

I wanna save as much as i can. if there is marginal difference, i'd keep my oem's and get the front and rears only.

Please post pictures if you can.

I think it wouldn't make much different I could never tell the difference between the IS has and hasn't got the sides on it anyway

yeah same here. i couldnt tell at all unless i ask.

i plan to get the OEM front and rears very soon... not sure if i should get the sides.

any more comments are appreciated.

Yeah... they look pretty similar, but if you buy the front and rear, you might as well pay for the sides...

here is mine~ you can tell when you step in and out of the car.. outside i dunno. some peopel can tell i changed it~ it protrudes out more on the sides.

i've seen the ihskim's car in person ...the GFX sides makes his car looks very nice and it's definitely noticeable in person...here are pics from a similar angle for comparision...i think i'm going to have to get the GFX sides too...

Ok got it. I got to wait for the Lexus Parts Manager to be back before I order it. I get Lexus Value Customer discount... approx 25-30% off. It should bring my total to about $800 or so for the complete.

After it arrives, I'm dropping it off for the parts to be clear bra then i will install it.

I've had a kit before on my old car.. the protruding side skirts are prone to skuff marks from shoes.. especially the ladies side.

I HKS KIM, what type of wheels do you have?

Wheel size?
Tire size?
Offset?

I'm really liking the look you have how it sits flush with the wheel well.

Actually, after installing the OEM GFX side skirts on my friend's 2IS, I'm now considering purchasing only the OEM GFX side skirts for my IS. There's a subtle difference from the standard package, but enough of an upgrade to warrant the purchase - I really like them.
