I never use it. it's in an awkward spot for me. I rather burn my mp3's to a few cd's ( i don't have thousands upon thousands like some of you, lol) and let them shuffle in the 6disc changer.
I either use the iPod with the Sik line out connector (better sound) or listen to XM satellite. Don't use the CD changer all that much. Has anyone noticed that the changer is pretty slow to accept/reject discs and to switch from one disc to the other? It's very quiet, but I find it slow compared to other cars I've used.

Aux Input > Ground Loop Isolator > Belkin Ipod Power Adapter(via Line out) > Ipod via dock connection
Aux Power> Radio Shack 2 into 1 power adapter that rotates 90 degrees. > Belkin Ipod Adapter > Direct connected through dock connection to Ipod
Benefits:
1.) Total cost for everything was about $40 via amazon and radio shack
2.) Audio signal is clean and interference free, no volume distortion or accidental increase decrease from touching the ipod because of the dock connection
3.) Location allows me to put the ipod away whenever I get out of the car very easily
4.) Since the power is hooked on in acc mode, the ipod turns on and off by itself when you turn the car off/on
5.) Extra slot in the power adapter allows another AC in to be plugged in, use it for my cell phone charger(ash tray slot is taken by my V1 plug)
6.) I place the ipod in the cup holder and just click left or right to cycle through songs, I rarely look at the ipod, I have lots of playlists and just cycle through anyhow. So its not much different than cycling through songs were it connected via a vais tech unit through the steering wheel. I wouldn't really want to sit there and choose songs on the screen while driving. Plus nothing is as fast and accurate as the actual ipod interface on the ipod itself.
7.) Did I mention this only cost about $40!?

I use Ipod 60% while MP3 disks 40%. In my opinion, the sound quality from the disk player is better than from the aux even though I've got the line out plug on my ipod.
I actually like the location of the AUX jack. I can control and hide my iPod at ease. The volume on steering works as well. For a $20.00 cable, it sounds GREAT. Why spend $200+ to control your iPod on the radio.
Dude, I suggest u to get those silicon case, about $6 from Ebay. It would stick you Ipod anywhere on the wood trim.
Is there any way to control changing tracks or playlists on the nav screen or other, instead of having to do it on the ipod? It's hard to concentrate on driving when you're looking at the small letters on the ipod trying to change playlists, etc.
