For anyone that has done the Illuminated Door Sill install on a 2007 IS, is this the plug that you connected it too?? I just took apart my passenger door sill and want to make sure its plug and play.

Apparently for 2007 ALL IS models the illuminated door sill mod is plug and play.

Do you have a pic of the interior with the factory pieces there? How hard was it to remove for you?

I haven't seen anything that's plug & play on the IS's...but ya never know...

Took me a minute to remove. Just pull up and it pops out. Its held by like 3 or 4 plastic clips.

So does anyone know if I just plug the Illuminated Door Sill into the white connect and thats all???

Plug it in, and watch it glow, as long as the overhead light is set to "door."

Anyone have the part number for the front door sills???

I called the dealer and he couldnt find the part in his computer system.

Get it from Sewell. They have it online, much cheaper. Dealer told me it's impossible to add on to car without the illuminated sills, (their loss)!

pull it just straight up? like literaly just rip it off?

im thinkin about doing this, but i dont have that plug, so ill have to do the wiring thing.

Yes, just pull it straight up and it should come off. You'll have to put a little force into it and as it comes off, it sounds like the clips are being broken but they're not. When I did mine, it freaked me out when I heard the clips coming off but it's normal so don't worry.

I've never seen a pair of these door sills in person so forgive my ignorance, but what makes them worth $200? Don't they just light up with "Lexus"?
