ANSWER TO Aftermarket alarm/remote starter
i just finish install a compustar alarm/remote starter (Pro P2W9000FMR). this compustar is perfect for lexus smart key system. the alarm Feature arm/disarm by push of a button, this is why it's perfect for the smart key system, it's also ARM/DISARM WITH A GROUND(-) TRIGGER. and the smart key system is perfect for a remote start, why? the engine start/stop button, start and stop the car by a GROUND(-) TRIGGER show here http://bypasskits.fortinautoradio.co...496a4e4726058a . no over crank, no problem.
here is how my is250 alarm setup.
lock with button on handle, compustar will automatic arm.
unlock with hand on handle . compustar will automatic disarm.
open trunk, compustar will automatic disarm also.
remote starter setup.
start the car with compustar.
as you all know, when car started the smart key system don't work. this is the only time i have unlock/disarm with a compustar.
so far this is what's i use.
compustar pro (Pro P2W9000FMR) for alarm/remote start.
IFAR key overrude-sl for smart key system bypass.
universal trigger output module to delay a unlock output pulse when trigger disarm.
i'm working on, to roll up all windows when lock with button on handle.
install as your own risk............................

I see the parts list. Thank you for the info.
Regarding the compustar alarm, did you use the door lock trigger to control the compustar alarm?
I recall you stating that the compustar works as a slave to the OEM keyless.
Can you explain how you accomplished that specific feature in terms of electrical wiring?
I've heard some great stuff with compustar but i personally prefer DEI products and was woundering if I can accomplish something similar with a Clifford Alarm.
Thank you

hm.... Nice..
I understand where to get the signal for the lock/unlock (-) pulse from the driver door.
For the universal trigger output module to delay a unlock output pulse for one second, why is that needed to show a (-) for one second?
So to trick the compustar to disarm when you open the trunk via OEM Remote, you used the trunk pin wire?

the compustar recognize the pulse one second or more better. with out delaying the pulse longer, sometime the smart key system unlock, the compustar alarm won't disarm. this way ensure it's works everytime. whether you open the trunk with your smart key remote or by push the button on the trunk lid, your door still lock. when door is not unlock alarm still arm. this is why you have to disarm when open trunk.
