Does anyone know if any of these can be done through a 3rd party tool like Auto Enginuity or other OBD-II tools?

I agree..

I went through all the OEM settings and found that the way my 2008 came from the factory, was perfect for me w/ the LPS features..

All mine are standard, but the dealer is currenlty setting lights to shut off immediately, instead of after 30 sec.

**BUMP**

Clicking on a link from an email I received from Lexus, I noticed updated LPS sheets (doesn't look like there are any new LPS's, just an 8-page sheet, instead of the old 1-pager). Anyway, page 2 (attached) says the LPS must be done at the 30 day/1000 mi service--NOT within 1 year like it used to. I'm not sure when this policy chagned.

changes.

1.door locks at 13mph instead of putting it into drive or any other gear.
2.when holding down unlock to open all the windows and sunroof. the sunroof only tilts open.
3.sensetivity of my auto sensing headlights. to less sensetive.
4.trunk opens with one push of the fob.

and i did this last one myself when i was first on the forums. when unlocking the car via doorhandle all 4 doors unlock instead of the oem setting where it was only the driver side door to unlock.

the full PDF didnt work but you can see it on the site. Only the first page of your saved file works.

Thanks for sharing.

That was never an LPS--it was just something the dealer can do, if you sweet talk them.

Sorry--it wouldn't let me upload the entire file, so I pasted the Lexus.com link, and uploaded the relevant page.

They tried to tell me they couldn't do it for legal reasons. I insisted that there is no law saying you have to have them (there isn't here, I think in Canada there is).

Tell them you know it's a C Best option and it takes 2 minutes to do it.
