So I took my IS350 to my dealer last Friday for three things:

1) Oil Change
2) Soonroof rattle
3) Spoiler Install

I had complained about the rattle to them on my previous oil change visit but they were unable to duplicate the problem. Thanks to a memer on this forum (forget who it was) who posted where the rattle was coming from on his 2IS, I went and checked that same spot on mine, and sure enough, that is where the rattle is coming from. It's basically the drip guard that pops upwards when your soonroof is in the tilt position. I showed one of the techs how I could easily reproduce the rattle sound by simply flicking the guard with my finger.

I just got a call from my dealer a couple hours ago saying they have fixed the rattle. According to him they had to remove the guard, insulate it and reinstall it. I haven't seen it for myself yet becuase they won't have my spoiler install finsihed until Wednesday. So for anyone who has the rattle and hasn't had it fixed yet, have your dealer check the drip guard on your next visit.
