hey dabigman, after changing out the flasher module, does your signal lights still flash when you lock/unlock your car? i just got around to changing out the flasher module and noticed my signals.. both the incandescent front signals and led rear signals don't flash anymore when i lock/unlock the car.

The light will not flash after the mod. I changed the front/rear turn signals to LED. Check out my post on headlight removal.

Would all of this apply to the rear turn signals as well?

I still think its strange that Lexus gave us LED brake lights, but not LED turn signals...

If you change the flasher, the lights will no longer flash when you arm/disarm the alarm.

Just turn on your flashers, get under your dash, reach your hand up there and you'll find it. You can feel it clicking. The flasher from V-LEDS.com works perfectly, but you do lose the lock unlock confirmation blinks.

The front takes two 7440 amber bulbs on each side so 4 total. You need an bulb with radial firing LEDS because the sit vertically in the housing. Also you need to take off the front bumper to get to them, also you don't have to but it makes it easier to remove the drivers side headlight, there is one that is a real bugger to get at.

I did it here. Flasher doesn't hyper flash, but killed my stock alarm arm/disarm flashes.

I can't believe it took that much work to change turn signal lights... if mine blow out, i'm just selling the car. less effort that way

DaBigMan,

Do your lights flash to confirm that you lock or unlock your doors? Btw, the front headlight removal isn't too bad. Can be done in about 1 to 2 hours.

the reverse lights won't have any problems as it is a consistent voltage

Anyone found a flasher that will also fix the alarm on/off confirmation blinks? The flasher I am using fixed hyper flash but killed alarm blinks.
