Does it look like the pictures in my first post? If so, they are not locked in properly. You shouldn't see ANY tape. Did you jack up the car? You need to pull on the bumper while pushing on the lip. Let me know if you can't get it to lock.

I don't understand how it bundled up. Can you take a picture and post it? Also, the 3M tape is called 3M Molding Tape. It's for automotive applications. You should be able to find it at Autozone or any other auto shop. However, people have said adding extra tape can cause the gap to increase.

I can't really see anything wrong in the pic. Can you upload a bigger pic and a zoomed in picture?

We just installed mine. Best birthday gift ever! Got a new lip and a new coach purse

Thank you for the write up. Took a little teamwork, but we got it on with no gaps.

Default how the heck do you remove the c-clips?

hey guys,

stupid question but I'm one of the technically inept. I cannot for the life of me get the two c-clips out to install the GFX front. The other 9 screws come out easily enough but I'm afraid to snap off the clips if I put too much pressure.

What's the best way to do it?

Thanks.

The clip has 2 parts. The top and base. You need pull the top out (not off) using a flathead screw driver. Then pry off the whole clip. It should not take much force. If it does, stop because the top is not fully out. PM me if you still have trouble.

yea just stick a flathead screwdriver into the lil slit on the side to pop the middle up alil. Then you can just pull the rest of it out with your hand.
