It doesn't come out where the audio/video discs go. Did you take the clock panel off? The DVD slot for the nav is behind it.

i almost scratched the cover.
but basically when i tell it to eject the screen tells me there is no disc to eject?
is there a sensor in the IS if the cover is on. it will say there is no disc?

Well, if you already pressed it once, that means you already ejected it. Even with the clock on it still.

so the navi still functions without the disc flawlessly?
maybe some fool at the dealership lot messed with my car b4 i bought it.. haha

so if i understand you correctly, there is a navi disc that comes with every brand new IS already inside the disc slot behind the clock?

yes, if you got navi, and you bought the car new it has a disc. if you bought it from your neighbor and he hates you, then he might have kept the disc just pickin bro. yeah your car has the dvd.

Anyway, the fuse is in the driver's footwell, and is marked "TV1" I believe... Do a search, you'll find it in the nav hack threads...

I was not able to figure this out any other way until I saw this picture.

This can be a pain. I also did not hear a click but I figured out you have to push the drivers in all the way (it almost feels like you are going to push them through the back side).

Be careful and do not slide the drivers left or right as it will eventually expand the hole and make then twice as big. If you slide them far enough you could damage or crack the clock panel.

Yes, the pick tools MUST be inserted at a slight angle all the way in. I found a couple of small suction cups I had around and they pulled out the panel easily. Slight problem, new CD doesn't work... probably a knock off, enter plan B.

My 2007 IS250 does not have small holes to insert a driver. Does the unit just pull out with the suction cups?

Just checked again. There are definitely no holes
