For those that bought there 07 with HID's already included from the dealership, do you guys like them? I personally think they suck, so my questions are
1. What is the output wattage of the lights? 4100k or 4300k?
2. What is the part numbers to the bulbs?
3. Could i just order some 6000k/6500k bulbs from xenondepot and slap them right in?

What do you mean they suck? The OEM HID's have one of the highest Lumens outputs of any HID system. If by sucking you mean they arent blue like the 6000-8000k variants, then i guess they do suck. but remember the higher the color temperature the less lumens(light) output there really is. So if you were to get the 6000k aftermarket setup, they would definitely look cool and blue, but you actually downgraded to a lower light source.

but let me answer your questions...which have all been answered before (do a search next time).
1. 4300k (Color Temperature) 3800 Lumens(light output)..which is not the wattage the bulb outputs.
2. D4S (XenEco made by Phillips- Mercury Free)
3. Yes Xenonvalot.com has the replacement 6000k bulb (3200 Lumens)

Lexus OEM HID bulbs are 4100k not 4300. The closest aftermarket match is 4300k.

well thanks alot for responding, i use to own a '04 acura tsx and there HID's where nice , look at javyLSU sig..thats how the tsx use to look...i guess its just personal preference...

the tsx had one of the worst hid's ever, right next to the maxima's. They dont even angle down for on coming cars. I'm pretty sure you've been high beamed to turn off your high beams

What exactly are you trying to achieve? Are you trying to get that Euro sparkle like those of the Audi and BMW? If you are you will not get that with some 6000k/6500K bulb.

I have to disagree with you, I come from a TSX and I think are not bad at all, TSX's HID light up the road real nice with a nice beam cut off line.


My IS250 stock HIDs are pretty nice but I wonder if there's a way to make them point up further down the road because right now the beam angle is too low for me.

does any one know? is this possible?

Yes, you can change the headlight aim. Look in the manual.

It does have a good cut off and illumination coverage but with 3 people at the back, it's quite blinding. I know, cause I was facing it turning left (he turned right first and I saw that his car was full).

4100k and 4300k are color temperatures, not output wattage.
