Problem With My Passenger Side Headlight
SUP GUYS, SO HERE'S THE PROBLEM...I CHANGED MY PARKING BULBS INTO BLUE IN THE HEADLIGHTS AND SOMEHOW THE GUY THAT HELPED ME CHANGE MY PARKING LIGHTS , HE DIDN'T CLOSE/TIGHTEN THE BLACK CASE PROPERLY IN THE PASSENGER SIDE HEADLIGHT AND SOMEHOW MY HEADLIGHT (PASSENGER SIDE) GOT FOGGED UP AND WAS DAMP. SO MY HID BULB DID NOT WORK..IT WORKS AT TIMES AND SOMETIMES IT DOESN'T. IT HAPPENED RECENTLY. THE DRIVER SIDE LIGHTS WORKS FINE.
SO TODAY I WENT TO RALLYE LEXUS DEALER IN LONG ISLAND, NY AND ASKED THEM TO FIX IT OR SOMETHING...THEY TOLD ME THAT WATER GOT IN AND STUFF.. THEY HAD TO CLEAN IT AND THEY SAID FEW DAYS LATER IT SHOULD DRY OUT....BUT THE HEADLIGHT IS STILL DAMP AND HAS MOISTURE LIKE WATER IS DRIPPING OR SOMETHING AND TONIGHT MY HEADLIGHT STILL DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY...IT WORKS AT TIMES BUT MOST OF THE TIME IT DOESN'T WORK.. WHAT SHOULD I DO??? IM THINKING ABOUT GOING BACK TO THE LEXUS DEALER TOMORROW...ANY ADVICE? THANK U!

Lucky,
This same exact problem happened to me, except drivers side for my car. I called Lexus to set up an appt, and had the ENTIRE headlight housing replaced. I also changed my parking light bulbs but they did not say anything about it or give me some run-around telling me that it could have been my fault. The whole process took about 2 hours, mainly cause it was so busy for them that day. They even had the part in stock.
Here is also a reason I think Lexus service is top notch: Before he replaced my housing with the new one, he walked over to the service manager with the new housing in hand and said something to him.(Yes, their garage is very open so you can see what is going on) They both walk over and tell me that the new housing has a very small scratch and asked me if it was acceptable. I told them it was not a big deal, you can not even see it. Thumbs up to the tech who saw the scratch
