that's a good price. The one i quoted was OTD, but still....under 40 for a 350 is good

I just negotiated the following on 9/29 at Kendall Lexus in Eugene, OR.
Adriane Knight was my sales person. He's new, but tries hard to help.
Rick Foster is the sales manager.
Both guys were wonderful to work with so far.
Drove down to Eugene today and picked up the car.
I got everything just as quoted. I wanted a written confirmation before my 2 hour drive, but Rick said his word was good and would be honored.

$40500 OTD ($2735 off MSRP)
$43017 MSRP + $218-ttl. = 43235.00
2007 IS350
XE, PT, NV, HL, Z1, LR in Black/Black.
No tax in Oregon
TTL in OR is approx. $218 for 4 years.

The business manager (finance guy) tried to put the $218-ttl on top of the $40.5K OTD price for a ttl of $40718 and I told him that was a mistake. He said I had to take it up with the Sales person and manager, so I told him to talk to the manager while I go to the car and get the sales person (sales person was showing my wife the options). By the time I told the sales person they needed him in the office, the manager came and said it was their mistake and the $40.5K price would be honored. So then I was happy again. During the final signing, the finance guy didn't even ask me if I wanted to purchase any more options because he knew I would say no.

Conclusion: I am very happy with the sales people at Kendall Lexus, especially that of Rick, the sales manager. I think my price was very fair. I saved a lot of money and they made a lot more $$$.
